Swiss Chard and Cranberries

A quick skillet of swiss chard and onion finished with sweet dried cranberries.

Swiss Chard and Cranberries

Ingredients

2 tbsp olive oil 1 medium onion, chopped 6 cups swiss chard, stems chopped and leaves sliced 1/4 cup dried cranberries

Instructions

1. Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat. 2. Add the onion and cook until softened. 3. Add the swiss chard stems and cook until they begin to soften. 4. Increase the heat to high and add the swiss chard leaves and cranberries. 5. Once the greens wilt, turn off the heat and cover the skillet for a few minutes before serving. 6. For softer greens, let them rest a little longer.
