Our Practices
No gimmicks — just how we actually grow. Here are the details.
No-Till Farming
We practice no-till and minimal tillage to protect soil structure and promote healthy microbial life. This reduces erosion and builds organic matter over time.

No Synthetic Inputs
We don't use synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or fertilizers. We use compost, cover crops, and beneficial insects for pest management. We follow these practices by choice — not for a label.

Cover Cropping
Between cash crops, we plant cover crops like clover, rye, and vetch to fix nitrogen, prevent erosion, and feed the soil microbiome.

Crop Rotation
We rotate crop families through our fields on a multi-year cycle to break pest and disease cycles and maintain balanced soil nutrition.

Composting
All farm waste is composted on-site and returned to the fields. Our compost program turns waste into rich soil amendment that feeds the next season's crops.

Biodiversity
Produce
We maintain hedgerows, wildflower strips, and diverse plantings to support pollinators, beneficial insects, and soil health. A healthy farm isn’t a monoculture — it’s an ecosystem.

Sold Fresh
Produce
Almost everything we sell is harvested the same day or the day before you get it. The exception is storage crops like onions, garlic, and squash — those are cured and stored properly so they last.

Pasture Raised
Our animals are raised outdoors on rotating pastures with access to shelter. They forage naturally and are never confined to feedlots.
