Sauteed Cabbage and Onion
A simple, inexpensive side dish built from cabbage, onion, and caraway seeds.

Ingredients
1 tsp vegetable oil
1 onion, sliced
4 1/2 cups cabbage, sliced
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 tsp caraway seeds
Instructions
1. Heat the oil in a large saute pan over medium heat.
2. Cook the onion until light brown, about 5 to 6 minutes.
3. Add the cabbage, salt, black pepper, and caraway seeds.
4. Stir and cook for about 30 minutes, stirring now and then.
5. Serve immediately.
