Butter Braised Cabbage and Leeks
Soft braised cabbage with leeks, onions, broth, and butter.

Ingredients
1/2 large cabbage, sliced
2 leeks, cleaned and sliced
2 yellow onions, sliced
2 tbsp butter
1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 cup vegetable broth
1 tsp apple cider vinegar
Salt and black pepper
Instructions
1. Heat the butter and oil in a large skillet.
2. Cook the onions and leeks until they begin to soften.
3. Add the cabbage, season, and toss.
4. Pour in the broth and cover for 10 minutes.
5. Uncover and cook until the liquid cooks down and the cabbage turns tender.
6. Finish with the vinegar and black pepper.
Tips
